Kabob House
About This Spot
Stepping into Kabob House on Van Dyke Avenue feels like entering a warmly familiar neighborhood spot where the focus is on genuine, hearty Mediterranean fare served with care. The pace here carries the hum of a busy local eatery, where tables turn steadily, conversations flow, and the comforting scent of fresh-baked pita and grilled spices invites you to settle in and savor the moment.
The atmosphere is straightforward and unpretentious, with a welcoming vibe that reflects the place’s steady rhythm—busy yet attentive, bustling yet calm. It’s the kind of spot where the service feels personal, even amid the hum of a lunchtime rush, and where the presentation of your meal is a quiet promise of thoughtful preparation rather than flashy plating.
Your meal begins the moment you sit down, often with warm pita bread arriving alongside a silky garlic dip, setting the stage for the homey flavors ahead. The menu is a tapestry of classic Mediterranean favorites that feel deeply comforting—fresh, bright salads mingle with rich, smoky kebabs and tender shawarma, always balanced by vibrant dips and sides that remind you of simpler, authentic cooking. Whether it’s a generous chicken kebab lunch or a shareable tray of hommous, every dish invites you to linger, savoring the layers of flavor and familiar spices that speak to a culinary tradition rooted in care and warmth.
Regular visitors appreciate how the portions lend themselves to sharing and returning—not just for the food but for the quiet joy of gathering around a table where the focus remains firmly on good company and honest flavors. There’s a refreshing steadiness here, a place where you can count on a reliably satisfying meal and the small human moments that come with it.

Kebob House is always a treat to get food from. Great prices, great food, great flavor, and so many options for pick from. I always love getting the Kebob House Special and splitting it and that's exactly what I did this time again. They say it "serves 2" on the menu, but this is the biggest lie I've ever seen (in a good way). Every time I get it I easily get 6 meals out of it, and this time we shared it amongst 6 people and we barely finished. Treat yourself, go to Kebob House.

Food was excellent. Flavor seasoning and taste! Pleasant atmosphere. Service was personal,. The price was well worth it! The food was really fresh and authentic tasting. How it was prepared. The flavor and taste of the food was my favorite part of my experience. I would ask them to join me for brunch or lunch to experience it for them self. Any one of them dishes would taste great. Great food!

The flavors were so amazing. The freshness of the food was at another level. 0ur first time here and it was a fantastic choice. We were lucky to get the last parking spot and entered the restaurant to a long line waiting, waiting to pay the bill. Phew! We were greeted and showed to our table, few seconds later welcomed with fresh pita bread and dip. The food was delicious. I was mostly impressed by the side salad that came with the meal. Highly recommend this place to everyone. A must try. We cant wait to be back!

I stopped by Kebob House in Warren during lunchtime and it was very busy — tables were filling up and turning over constantly. Despite the crowd, the service was surprisingly fast and efficient, which was a big plus. The atmosphere felt a bit old-fashioned, and while the place wasn’t spotless, it wasn’t dirty either — just average in terms of cleanliness. The food was the highlight: generous portions of flavorful Arabic dishes at a fair price. The quality was solid for the cost, making it a great value overall. If you’re looking for a quick, hearty Middle Eastern meal and don’t mind a casual, no-frills setting, Kebob House is definitely worth checking out.

Amazing food and exceptional service! Kabob House exceeded all my expectations! The food is 100% halal, which is very important to me, and everything tasted incredibly fresh and flavorful. I ordered the chicken shawarma, lentil soup, and the fattoush feta salad — every bite was delicious. The chicken was juicy and well-seasoned, the lentil soup was comforting and full of flavor, and the salad was crisp with the perfect tang from the feta. The staff was extremely polite and welcoming, and my order was ready in no time. Fast service without compromising on quality — what more can you ask for? I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

GREAT place to dine in or take out. The food, which was delicious, and the serving sizes were more than any person could eat! The service was exceptional and they are kind, courteous with a wonderful attitude! Definitely going back again when visiting our family in that area.
